Digital Marketing Specialist

We're looking for a Digitial Marketing Specialist to join our Canadian Marketing team.  This role will give you auntomy over your work as you will be responsible for developing, creating and executing the digital marketing approach for Unitron Canada.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements effective digital communications to the market; owning the full life-cycle of an email campaign from idea to testing, executing, optimizing and analyzing
  • Monitor each email campaign to ensure open rates, delivery rate and click-through rates are above email marketing benchmarks
  • Continuously research best practices for email marketing and campaigns, suggesting new ways to improve and innovate our email marketing strategies
  • Updates and maintains Canadian website content; leveraging content in email marketing strategies
  • Salesforce marketing cloud; implementation and transition from current process
  • Oversee the Unitron Canada social media presence
  • Performs required administrative tasks within the department; and as required by Manager


Job Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree from accredited post-secondary institution in Marketing, Communications and/or Advertising.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a marketing department utilizing the programs specified
  • Minimum two years’ experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or an applicable marketing automation software (i.e. Hubspot, Marketo)
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Experience with email marketing solutions like Constant Contact
  • Knowledge of email template design and development (basic HTML skills are an asset), online form data capture, and conversion optimization
  • Strong analytical mindset and an ability to analyze campaigns
  • Design and layout experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and imaginative
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with excellent attention to details
  • Knowledge of and experience with project management tools like Asana an asset
  • Understanding of print production an asset
