Job Overview

Insticator is looking for a Product Manager to support the Director of Product Management. The ideal candidate will have a great track record of successfully delivering software products within an Agile methodology, is extraordinarily organized, extremely proactive, capable of wearing many hats effectively, has great attention to detail, and thrives in a high-intensity and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own key products and features within Insticator’s suite, including those focused on Market Research, Media Buying, Publishers, and Consumers

  • Work with internal operations/executive teams, external customers, engineering, and UX/UI to define requirements and KPIs for those products and features

  • Write user requirements, create/manage stories in JIRA, and work with UX/UI and engineering team to ensure all products/features are delivered on-time and to spec

  • Perform Sprint Grooming & Planning meetings with UX/UI and engineering to ensure all requirements are fully documented and understood ahead of development

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance of delivered products/features against KPIs

  • Manage the collection, documentation and organization of all enhancement requests and prioritize according to value

  • Manage the collection, organization, and implementation of customer feedback on all new product/feature launches for future iteration

  • Work with UX/UI and engineering to test proposed new features and measure impact

  • Contribute to creation of quarterly Roadmap planning presentations for owned products/features

  • Work with Design to create a branded version of our Release Notes for both Internal users (exec/sales/operations) and external users, and manage ongoing documentation and distribution

  • Work with Sales/Operations to ensure proper messaging of products/features to existing and potential clients

  • Manage sprint velocity planning and reporting to ensure engineering is taking on and completing the appropriate amount of work for a given sprint

  • Manage all relevant product/feature/partner documentation in Google Team Drive

  • Propose process improvements across the org and track/report on the results

  • Delegate all relevant manual tasks to our offshore team and track to completion

  • Create and manage a formal Partner Evaluation process, including contract reviews to maximize efficiency and prevent gaps/surprises during deal negotiations

  • Research potential partners across verticals and document value-opportunities

  • Manage analysis of our Publisher-facing Quiz and Poll content questions across all top sites to identify and improve individual and overall performance. Work with Content Team to optimize questions across sites


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3 - 5 years Agile Product Management experience

  • Strong expertise in evaluating product performance metrics

  • Experience in using data visualization tools

  • Expertise in sprint/roadmap management tools like JIRA, Trello, etc.

  • 2 - 5 years experience in Market Research tech or Ad Tech/digital Advertising

  • Extremely organized, great attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

  • Extremely proactive; self-starter
