We are currently designing the next generation cleaning robots that will take over the cleaning industry! Our robot, Neo, is successfully deployed to a long list of some of the best managed facilities on 5 continents. Our customers are using Neo in airports, shopping malls, universities, hospitals, commercial and industrial facilities.

Avidbots is looking to hire a Director of Program Management to start a program management function within Avidbots. As we scale to provide multiple product offerings, it is increasingly important to track schedules, budgets and interdependencies between the different programs. Our ideal candidate has an extensive background in program management, project management, risk management and hardware-development. You are passionate about developing and delivering great programs on time and budget. You also enjoy working with people: directing, coaching, and leading project management teams while working cross-functionally across the company.

You will work closely with engineering, sales, service, customer success and product teams to manage programs on current, future robots and other product offerings. Experience in managing complex and multidisciplinary (software/hardware) programs is a must along with a strong background in continuous improvement, risk management and formal project management training.

We are looking for a highly organized leader capable of spearheading new projects and kick-starting efforts into new verticals. (future robots, applications, etc). You will work with project managers to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture and enable all teams to hit ambitious goals.

You will be working alongside an experienced team of hardware, software and robotics engineers and together revolutionize commercial cleaning and robotics!

Main Tasks:

  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and operating plans for existing and future programs at Avidbots

  • Apply change, risk and resource management to the existing and future programs.

  • Develop cross-project monitoring activities

  • Lead, develop, and help with recruiting a team of program managers

  • Roll-out improved program management best practices along with implementing metrics and tools

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive professional program management experience

  • 5+ years of experience in managing and leading program management teams

  • Certification in project or program management through PMI or equivalent

  • Exceptional time management skills with a proven track record of influencing across an organization and leading cross-functionally to deliver on project goals

  • Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills

  • Strong background in budgeting, risk management and continuous improvement

  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and risk, change management principles.

  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Project management tools
