Support Software Engineer

Our mission is to bring practical applications of AI into customer service operations in the insurance industry. We’ve already helped over 80 insurance clients and we’re just getting started. We’re looking for software engineers to join us as we continue to scale and work on new exciting products.

ProNavigator is looking for a support software engineer to help us in providing the best customer service our industry has to offer. We value and respect our customers needs and trust - so when something goes wrong we try our best to fix it in a short period of time.

Responsibilities

  • You will be configuring YAML / JSON files and other types of configuration files.

  • You will be coding in Python within the Linux environment.

  • You will be testing the changes and ensuring that quality is kept.

  • You will write new tests to ensure that the same errors don’t come up again.

  • You will be working alongside the Program Manager and Customer Support Rep.

  • You will interpret and clarify requirements from customers into code changes.

  • You will work within the AWS environment.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience is preferred (internships included).

  • Bachelor degree is preferred.

  • Experienced in Python, Object Oriented Programming, and the Linux environment.

  • Defensive, readable and reusable code is mandatory.

  • Strong communication skills is required to clarify and interpret requirements.
