The Business Development Specialist (BDS) is responsible for acting as a direct extension of our clients’ sales departments by successfully promoting leading edge technology solutions to key decision makers. As a BDS, you will conduct high level conversations with c-level executives with the objective of qualifying them for our clients through strategic messaging.
While we do provide extensive sales training for our team members, to be successful at the role, you must be able to do the following:
- Effectively manage a sales pipeline for a variety of projects and clients
- Track and record all contacts in a CRM environment; as well as
- Source leads through a combination of Internet research, data profiling, and marketing activities
- Be comfortable calling and conversing with high level executives
- Deliver on sales targets and performance metrics, consistently
And, it’s REALLY great if you have experience in the following:
- B2B account prospecting – preferably in IT solution sales
- Hunting and researching prospects to keep a pipeline flowing
- Salesforce or another CRM
- An aptitude to learn technical product information quickly
- Bachelor’s degree - Business, Commerce, or Communications is preferred
