Automatically collecting thousands of data points from fridges, freezers, dishwashers, trucks, hand helds and more, blueRover wirelessly aggregates this data in real time and in the cloud, at the same time is looking for patterns, relationships, and anomalies in the data to allow executives to make better, faster decisions around safety, compliance, and asset management.

We are looking for motivated Account Executives (AEs) to come aboard. Our AEs are responsible for a set number of major existing customers, and/or new prospects in a particular Food Industry vertical. The AEs have a great opportunity to work with some of the biggest Food Industries in North America and their executives.

Sales Development Representative responsibilities

  • Obtain individual targets for software sales, pipeline generation, and other sales KPI’s

  • Create, maintain and execute a plan that will achieve goals for your territory

  • Work directly with marketing on how to discover new opportunities in your territory

  • Qualify leads from marketing quickly and determine which leads should be kept and prioritized

  • Work with other blueRover team members to ensure the best value is being communicated to the prospects

    and customers

  • Ensure adoption of blueRover in your assigned customer base

  • Understand the blueRover solutions and their value to your specific customers and prospects

  • Understand and maintain relationships with companies and people that can positively influence your goals

  • Maintain blueRover’s CRM system daily to reflect your activity, status of opportunities, and other metrics

Ideal Sales Development Representative skills

  • University degree or equivalent experience

  • 4-7 years sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment

  • Experience building and understanding how important a good pipeline is

  • Able to provide accurate forecasts

  • Strong preference to those with experience in the food industry

  • Strong in-person, phone, and written communication skills

  • Technical acumen preferably in areas like SaaS, Cloud, IoT

  • Self motivated with good time management skills

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience with any CRM, especially Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
