About the Job:

Are you on a mission to empower the world’s most innovative scientists by creating valuable, engaging and creative content? We are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to develop, implement and optimize marketing campaigns across all digital channels. You will directly impact our inbound marketing strategy, while providing scientists with the valuable information they need to innovate and accelerate their research. As a part of a dynamic and growing team, you will create digital marketing campaigns including blog posts, case studies, emails, social media posts and paid ads. You will work closely with the data-driven, inbound marketing team to increase lead generation and conversion.

We’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades superstar who will champion the company brand identity across all digital channels and translate technical/scientific information into targeted and engaging content. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail and project management skills. Our ideal candidate is a creative life sciences graduate with strong writing skills, who constantly innovates and challenges the status quo.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and optimize content to increase lead generation and conversion (including blog posts, email campaigns, case studies, ebooks, webinars, social media content, landing pages and paid ads)

  • Champion the company brand identity and company voice across all digital channels

  • Make smarketing a priority by collaborating with the sales team to execute digital marketing campaigns that will help us exceed our sales targets

  • Create and manage website content using Wordpress while optimizing content for search engines and lead generation

  • Develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies

  • Collaborate with graphic designers to create conference marketing assets that will increase booth traffic and brand awareness (i.e. brochures, banner stand, and swag)


What You’ll Need:

  • Formal training in science, biotechnology, lifesciences, chemistry, materials science, or related fields

  • Previous experience in a marketing role for scientific instruments or other technical products

  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to translate scientific concepts into creative, engaging and inspiring content. You’re passionate about all things science and keep up-to-date with the latest scientific research, methods, and tools

  • Empathy. You understand scientific researchers, including their pain points and motivation factors. You speak their language and want to use your creative writing skills to help them advance their innovative research

  • A creative and analytical mindset. Data excites you! You’re eager to analyze content performance and use data to constantly optimize/scale marketing campaigns

  • A mindset for continuous innovation and challenging the status quo. You thrive on solving tough marketing challenges by using data and creativity

  • Problem solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. When something isn’t working, you know when to move on and learn quickly. You embrace change in a rapidly evolving environment

  • Excellent project management skills. You’re able to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts. You want to work for a small team in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced Wordpress skills and a working knowledge of HTML/CSS

  • +1 year experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • Photography, Videography, motion graphics and editing skills
