About the Job:

Our manufacturing team is continuously dedicated to executing and improving processes in order to support our exciting growth. As a vital part of the manufacturing team, you’ll be responsible for:

1) The testing of electronic PCBA’s, mechanical tolerances and chemical reactions in a biotech device.

2) Shipping and Receiving of biotech devices, components and the chemicals used in the device.  

You’ll be executing the processes and first level issue resolution for both responsibilities, before escalating to more senior team members.

Your tasks within the department will be split between two key responsibilities:

Quality Control

  • Performing pre-defined electrical and chemical tests

  • Analyzing test data against known good data

  • Entering test results into a database

  • Mixing chemicals to make test solutions in the lab

  • Light assembly with mechanical alignment to a predetermined specification

Shipping & Receiving

  • Preparing the necessary forms for shipments worldwide (of Biotech devices and chemicals)

  • Following up with UPS to try and resolve issues, then escalating to the appropriate people

  • Final packaging of units and chemicals

  • Counting and sorting incoming packages to verify receipt against supplier packing slips, then entering information into our ERP system

  • Being the gatekeeper for anything entering or leaving the facility to ensure it’s tracked according to our processes

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Proven experience in a role requiring a high attention to detail

  • Ability to plan and work within a team environment

  • A keen eye for quality and process improvements

  • Able to operate with minimal supervision

  • Quick learner

  • Excellent communicator

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

  • Previous experience shipping & receiving and/or quality control will be considered an asset, but not required
