Your Role

  • Activate, enable, and support channel sales.  Own channel sales target and align effort and activities to close sales and maximize revenue opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with current partners to drive new revenue through their clients, communities, and channels.

  • Own initial strategic plans for each individual strategic partner to drive shared revenue wins, while strengthening partnership.

  • Co-create initial solution design and documents with strategic partners. Co-create strategic plans, proof-of-concepts, statements of work, and responses to RFP/RFI requirements. Manage internal SME who support these efforts.

  • Act as a bridge between strategic partners and internal teams (marketing, sales, product, and operations), ensuring priorities and focus delivers best outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Be well-versed in product knowledge. Convey Plum’s unique value proposition and position with strategic partnerships through one-on-one support, speaking engagements, networking, and direct engagement with partners’ customers.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to identify requirements for content and platforms needed to enable channel partners. Own learning management platform for all channel activities.

  • Consistently use CRM and sales platforms to manage opportunities, with clear notes, data management, and forecasting.

  • Identify blockers to winning business, and develop specific and actionable plans to address these challenges.

  • You have strong communication and presentation skills. You are able to read an audience and synthesize and surface information in a way that is well understood, whether it’s during informal communication or a presentation.

  • You have a mastery of complex negotiation and selling environments.  You have emotional and social awareness to align with varying stakeholders and remove blockers.

  • You are driven by challenge and incremental wins. You can stay positive and laugh when needed.

 

Your Experience

  • 3-5 years of channel-focused SaaS sales with a focus on corporate/enterprise organizations, or similar experience and results in a sales or marketing role.  HR tech, ATS, and HCM preferred

  • Have driven results and scaled relationship with major ISV partner

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
