Talent Acquisition Reporting Analyst (12 Month Contract)

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Director Talent Brand & Recruitment Excellence, the Talent Acquisition Reporting Analyst is versatile in supporting multiple key pillars within our talent acquisition data & reporting framework. The analyst will work with the talent acquisition leaders, team members, HR partners, and the business in delivering on our reporting & analytics framework, an efficient data management practice, data audits, data health and user data support.

You are great at:

• Working with standard reporting procedures used in the creation and delivery of recurring and ad hoc Talent Acquisition reports, dashboards and analytical presentations 
• Conducting analysis and providing detailed analytical support in scoping and designing strategic and operational improvements
• Providing data analysis to inform TA, HR and business decisions
• Manipulating data using advanced excel skills- like vlookups, macros, pivots, data visualization / grasping and clearly communicating the “story” of our talent acquisition data
• Database system administration and configuration functions including datafile management, data uploads (into the Applicant Tracking System and/or other systems), and other data and/or process-related system configuration
• Conducting data audits to ensure accuracy, data integrity; provides analysis, interpretation and potential solutions for data, process or system concerns; and works in conjunction with TA leadership and the TA Centre of Excellence team to ensure processes and technology configuration meet the needs
• Managing various operational activities and assist in identifying opportunities to streamline, improve and implement processes and monitor for effectiveness 
• Identifying and present best practices to improve service to client groups and improve on quality of the talent acquisition function

What it takes:

• 5+ years’ experience working inside database systems, building reporting outputs and analysis
• Experience in HR and/or Talent Acquisition a strong plus, particularly where you have experience working closely with Applicant Tracking systems, recruitment data & analytics 
• Experience providing reporting and analytical support for defined business processes and/or systems, including talent acquisition leadership and the business 
• Prefer experience using an applicant tracking system and working with related workflows, datasets, data elements, field values, forms in building analyses
• Digital fluency and savvy technology and systems skills 
• Data driven with orientation toward understanding through data and facts along with experience
• Advanced proficiency in MS Access and MS Excel- with the ability to use formulas, macros, charts, graphs and pivot tables, and other using slicers, and functions
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education or experience
