We need passionate and talented Linux Application/Embedded Developers to help us deliver robust, reliable software that is the backbone of these experiences.

Linux Application / Embedded Development

Are you eager to learn and interact with a broad range of technologies such as optics, lasers, thermal control systems, color theory, motors, video electronics, media playback and professional A/V? Do you take pride in solving challenging problems? Do you want to be a key contributor throughout the entire product development cycle, from proof-of-concept to product launch and beyond?

We are looking for people of all levels of experience to expand our next-generation product development team. Successful candidates are determined, curious, and not afraid to ask questions when problem solving. They must also work well in small teams with minimal supervision and be able to take ownership for features and issues and work closely with the larger multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Strong C++ skills
  • Solid object-oriented design skills
  • Significant relevant experience with the cross platform Linux development and run-time environments
  • Knowledge of design patterns, application development, multi-tier systems, and service-oriented architecture are all assets
  • Multi-threaded development knowledge is an asset
  • Experience with CPU/FPGA interfacing and familiarity with protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, TCP/IP, UDP are assets
  • Experience reading schematics and data sheets preferred
  • Knowledge of common libraries such as (QT) is also an asset
