InFlight is looking for an Engagement Manager with a commitment to customer success and a desire to continuously look for ways to improve the InFlight delivery function.

As an Engagement Manager you will be the main point of contact with our clients to complete tasks ranging from working with engineering to allocate resources, establishing timelines and communicating with internal and external teams.

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing project kick-off and implementation
  • Owning the customer relationship and project communications
  • Ensuring customer success and driving customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with Product, Sales & Engineering teams to deliver on-time, on-budget and with quality
  • Maturing the InFlight delivery function so we can be better, faster, stronger
  • Leading and participating in QA activities before and after delivery to the customer
  • Participating in our team-based approach to selling, ensuring we over-deliver after Sales handoff
  • Collaborating with product management to ensure a deep understanding of requirements and how they map to our larger goals. Successfully translating those requirements for our engineers so that they can deliver
  • Track and setup project tasks and resources using JIRA and Confluence
  • Relaying deliverables and associated dates to the customer, keeping them appraised of changes through ongoing follow up meetings

Ideally, you will have:

  • A University Degree/College Diploma, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a software organization under relevant project management, customer support or QA organizations
  • Success at managing multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Ability to grasp complex issues to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with remote or global teams
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution requirements
  • Good judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
  • Experience with JIRA or a similar defect tracking system

Other skills that would be considered an asset (but are not required):

  • Able to apply Software Lifecycle and Quality Assurance methodologies in a cost-effective manner to bring high-quality products to market on time
  • Experience in Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile (Scrum) approaches to project management
  • Knowledge of legacy and modern web architecture
  • A background in web development or testing
  • Experience with Fiddler or a similar web tracking tool
  • Experience with JIRA or a similar defect tracking system
  • Experience working with remote or global teams
