Job Description

GamerLink is seeking a creative, energetic, enthusiastic tryhard who is ready to turn their dreams into memes. This highly motivated individual will run the front lines of social media, and the GamerLink app’s community.

We’re building the next best thing in gaming, a place for gamers to call home! If you’re excited about our vision then read on!

Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate conversations with our community.

Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.



  • Create, manage, and execute community and social media plans.

  • Know your audience: where they are, how they interact, and speak their language. Be positive, helpful, and know when to meme.

  • Become a creative force by coming up with ideas and running with them; creating and distributing content across multiple platforms.

  • Effectively moderate the communities within the app and on all of our social media channels.

  • Respond to customer support inquiries through our support ticket platform.

  • Host live stream events and broadcasts, create engaging video content, and represent the company in the content creator community.

  • Constantly improving on creating a vibrant, welcoming and positive community.

  • Take part in trade, developer, and consumer shows with community presence.

  • Always represent the company, its people, and its products with the utmost integrity.


Required Skills:

  • Excellent at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience with Twitch/YouTube content creation.

  • Must be well versed in online game etiquette, and be genuinely interested in assisting and engaging with the community.

  • Loves to game!


Bonus points for:

  • Deep knowledge of best practices in community management, including strategies, techniques and tools for managing and reducing toxicity and promoting positive behavior.

  • Experience working on a video game website, fan site, or producing game-related content.

  • Existing presence and experience on major gaming forums and social platforms.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of competitive games and esports.
