What’s this role about?

As market engagement specialist, you’ll help grow awareness and reputation for Auvik by managing our event presence, both in-person and online. You’ll use your keen organizational skills, flair for negotiation, and ability to communicate with a broad range of people to pull off flawless tradeshows, conferences, lunch and learns, roadshows, group meetings, and webinars.

What will I be doing?

You’ll be our events champion, responsible for planning, promoting and executing multiple events each month. These are a few of the things you’ll do:

  • Develop an events strategy to support Auvik’s sales and marketing goals in North America and beyond.

  • Coordinate all event logistics including contract negotiations, reservations,  invitations, promotions, equipment purchase and rental, lead management, budgeting, and reporting.

  • Nurture and develop relationships with prospects, customers, and vendors at events.

  • Arrange travel for events, including flight, hotel, and car rental.

  • Create a plan for every event, making sure Auvik attendees have everything they need to be successful.

  • Prep presenters for scheduled talks with required materials and logistics.

  • Identify content needs for each event, such as print ads, videos, signs, and handouts, and coordinate their creation and delivery.

  • Manage swag inventory.

  • Book and prep presenters for webinars and work with co-marketing vendors and members of the Auvik content team to develop webinar topics, book and prep executives for webinars, and create slide decks, marketing materials, and emails.

  • Manage all leads from events, and work with the marketing operations team to ensure they’re properly uploaded into our marketing systems.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing

  • Talent for keeping yourself organized and on schedule when juggling multiple competing priorities

  • A flair for negotiation

  • A friendly, outgoing personality—someone who’s comfortable interacting with a wide range of people

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Avid curiosity and the ability to learn new things quickly

Are there bonus points?
