Director, Human Resources M&A

The opportunity:

Reporting to the VP HR Operations & M&A, the Director Human Resources M&A provides leadership to ensure the execution of all HR aspects of M&A activities, from due diligence to post close integration.

You are great at:

• Leading the execution of HR due diligence and integration activities 
• Being a champion of change management and cultural alignment
• Representing HR on deal teams to support due diligence, including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, employment contracts, compensation
• Communicating functional due diligence findings, identifying dependencies, risks and costs, and making recommendations to address issues
• Ensuring strong collaboration with HR functional area partners (compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll, HR Business Partners, OE and Learning) as well as other functions (communications, legal, finance, tax, IT, etc.) 
• Overseeing the development and implementation of standard HR due diligence & integration processes (i.e. the M&A playbook) to drive continuous improvement

What it takes:

• 10+ years of progressive senior HR experience, gained in multiple HR functional areas, and preferably in the technology industry 
• Previous exposure and/or experience supporting acquisitions 
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience. MBA is a definite asset
• Demonstrated agility to succeed in a high change, fast paced environment, juggling multiple time sensitive priorities 
• Strong Total Rewards aptitude including cash compensation, equity, pension and benefit plans, and executive compensation
• Knowledge of global employment practices and legislation, including EMEA & APJ employment laws and ability to review and understand aspects of legal agreements that relate to employment terms
• Excellent analytical capabilities, as well as problem solving, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record for development and execution of Change Management programs; including employee engagement, retention & communication programs
