Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a multi-skilled Business Development Specialist who will help to further define and establish the Axonify Content Exchange as the content leader for microlearning content, that drives true business results. As a Product Business Development Specialist, this individual will be responsible for the strategic expansion of the Axonify Content Exchange partners and publishers as well as sourcing and seeding results-oriented content.  This expansion will revolve around specific market and segments with the end goal of acquiring Exchange users. The Business Development Specialist will work cross-functionally to drive collaboration and execution across all groups (PS, Sales, Marketing, ODR) to align to the company and product vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and other departments to develop a strategic expansion plan of content that fits target markets and segments
  • Conduct targeted outbound efforts to build connection with specific subject matter experts and publishers. This will require focus on research, market awareness and customer requirements.  It will also require calling and creating personalized email messages.
  • Clearly communicate the Axonify brand to the market and be able to ask questions to understand the needs and requirements of potential partners.
  • Work with Finance, Legal and Operations to continue to manage and evolve the overall order fulfillment and tracking process for the Content Exchange
  • Manage ongoing partnerships with publishers and content providers to provide access to up-to-date, results-oriented content for Axonify customers
  • Manage and fulfill all customer requests and updates via the Axonify Content Exchange
  • Work closely with the Axonify Instructional Design team to ensure ongoing content creation and updates align with customer and strategic requirements
  • Work closely with marketing to develop a content calendar for execution of content campaigns of specific offerings that align with markets, customers and prospects

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a product or business development role
  • University degree from a business or technical-related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong ability to motivate and collaborate with people, cross–functionally and at all levels of the business
  • Results-oriented, resourceful, and able to handle the pace and multiple demands in a rapidly growing company
  • Ability to think strategically while managing meticulous attention to details across the offering
  • Self-starter who provides creative solutions to business challenges. The ideal candidate is independent and will take charge while being a consummate team player.
