Channel Sales Specialist

What’s this role about?

As a channel specialist, you’ll play an integral role in accelerating Auvik’s growth with our partner (value-added reseller and managed service provider) community. Using your leadership skills, knack for relationship-building, and both technical and business acumen, you’ll influence and drive growth within our partner base.

 

What will I be doing?

You have a talent for seeing the bigger picture but aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. These are a few of the things you’ll do:
 

  • Sales enablement: Ensure your partners can effectively position and sell Auvik. Work with the partners’ sales, technical sales, product, and marketing teams to drive training and confidence. Ensure teams have the tools they need to identify opportunities, and promote, demonstrate, and sell Auvik across all aspects of the sales cycle.

  • Pipeline growth and management: Work in conjunction with Auvik’s channel leadership to determine new and existing sales opportunities, roadblocks, and circumstances for joint sales ventures.

  • Relationship management: Navigate and develop strong top-to-bottom relationships throughout the channel organizations (sales, technical, product, marketing), ensuring compliance with the Auvik Partner Program and cultivating dependability and trust.

  • Program development: Lead the development and execution of campaigns and incentive plans to inspire growth and acceleration of the Auvik VAR program.

 

What are we looking for?

  • 1-3 years of experience in channel sales, indirect sales, industry or solution selling, and business development

  • Strong relationship and time management skills

  • An ability to think strategically about how to best work with, and manage, channel partners for success

  • An ability to manage multiple competing priorities in an interrupt-driven atmosphere

  • A problem-solving mentality that draws on internal and external resources, conflict resolution skills, and follow-through tenacity

  • A reasonable level of technical proficiency—you will be responsible for technical enablement across the partner-base

  • An understanding of how to sell SaaS software

  • An ability to travel about 10% of the time
