Product Manager

The team at Encircle is leading the $2Trillion Property & Casualty Insurance industry out of the dark ages of pen and paper processes into the digital age of transparency and empowerment.

As a member of the product organization, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the product vision SaaS platform. We’re looking for someone that is self-directed with a keen product design sense to build best-in-class products. Job Description

This is a customer-facing role at a leading software provider to the insurance industry so you will be constantly drawing on both your people and problem solving skills. Every day, you will:

  • Spend time with customers to better understand their needs and requirements

  • Conduct market research to understand where the market is headed and what market segments are a great fit for Encircle

  • Identify immediate and/or upcoming client needs and work with the team to develop a product feature plan that addresses them

  • Use customer & market research, user feedback, customer usage and competitive analysis to identify new product features and enhancements

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define and prioritize the roadmap

  • Take ownership of product vision, strategy and roadmap

  • Specify, prioritize and communicate product specs using user stories, business rules, flows, interaction design guidance and use cases

  • Understand the client’s business and how they can generate a greater ROI from the platform

  • Define and analyze key product feature metrics and understand how to optimize features post-launch

  • Work collaboratively with world class engineers, designers and marketers

  • Work closely with sales and customer success to incorporate feedback from the front lines of the business

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success and Business Operations to keep a pulse on client needs and new feature adoption

  • Help develop and execute product marketing plans for new capabilities and features including educating internal staff and roll out to customers

  • Assess and document suggestions for new and improved product functionality based on customer feedback


  • Post secondary degree preferred (business or technical program is ideal)

  • 5+ years working in product management or related roles

  • Experience presenting at industry events and trade shows

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment

  • Experience working in tech

  • Highly accountable and willing to take ownership of the product

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

  • Software/SaaS industry experience would be a strong plus
