Who we are and what we do

Founded in 2011, Mappedin powers search and discovery indoors, enabling consumers to find what they’re looking for with speed and ease. Our software platform provides industry-leading tools to manage dynamic indoor spatial data and offer wayfinding experiences for customer-facing applications, including a recent collaboration with Apple Maps.

Mappedin works with the ten largest malls in Canada, the largest REITs in the US, and in stores, hospitals, campuses, and airports around the world.

Who you are and what you'll do

If there is a problem, you will find a solution. People may even question if you are telepathic by your ability to anticipate the needs of others and solve problems before they even become problems. This is all a result of your superhuman skill set, which includes but is not limited to: attention to detail, problem solving, organization, and communication.

Reporting to the VP, Sales, you will provide a high level of administrative and sales support to enable our team to perform at a higher level:

  • Manage calendars - organize and schedule appointments, meetings and conferences

  • Coordinate travel - booking flights, car service, accommodations, meeting appointments and more

  • Create and develop processes and procedures for executive administration

  • Correspond with clients, partners, colleagues and more on behalf of executives

  • Keep Sales CRM records up to date

What are some challenges?

We have been growing, with more growth coming. Multiple hats are worn by all members of the team and this role is no different. Managing competing priorities will become paramount to your success in this role. What to do and when to do it are questions that you will have to consistently ask yourself, and answer.

A lot of the tasks might be tedious but we'll try to make it as fun as possible!

Behind the scenes

We currently use GSuite for email/calendar and ProsperWorks as our Sales tool.

There’s a lot of trust here at Mappedin. We work flexible hours, have a flexible vacation policy, and provide you with the hardware or office equipment you require to do your best work. We value execution and will do what it takes to get things done if it’s something we’ve promised. We stay curious and will always ask each other questions, rarely making assumptions. We recognize that we are all different and will challenge each other’s views and perceptions from time to time, resulting in constructive and healthy debates, but that never stops us from all eating lunch together every day. If you want to join our sports team, we have a blank bright orange jersey here waiting for your name to be printed on it.

Lastly, we have an awesome office cat who loves attention. Allergic? Don’t worry, Hobbes stays on the other side of the office and won’t bother you unless you decide to work in the collaboration area there.
