2G Robotics is hiring for an Office Manager and we’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our growing team!

 

The Position

As the Office Manager at 2G Robotics you will report directly to the CEO, and help us create and maintain a welcoming, positive, and optimal work environment for all of our team members. You will ensure 2G employees have the resources they need to succeed, and exemplify the 2G brand in your day-to-day interactions. This position covers multiple facets; office management, reception, assisting with shipping, travel coordination, and support for our CEO.

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate must possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and be prepared to jump into provide assistance whenever necessary.

 

The Details

  • Manage reception, handle inbound calls and greet visitors

  • Keep the office organized and well-stocked by ordering office and kitchen supplies, decorations, swag, etc.

  • Provide support to the CEO

  • Manage the facilities, including; cleaners, recycling, building access and some logistics

  • Coordinate and organize lunch orders for company meetings

  • Receive and sort mail

  • Facilitate shipments with couriers, such as Fed Ex

  • Assist with booking travel for employee deployments, tradeshows, etc.

  • Work with HR and the Fun Squad to promote company initiatives and social events

  • Work with HR to support onboarding and orientation for new hires

  • Assist with setting up for corporate and client meetings

 

The Must Haves:

  • 1-3 years of administrative or office manager experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite, such as Google Docs

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organization and coordination skills

  • A self-starter who can proactively deal with multiple issues at once and prioritize tasks effectively

 

The Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working in high-tech considered an asset

  • Experience with placing orders, working with vendors, getting quotes, etc.

  • Post-secondary education in a related field

  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
