About the Position

We are looking for a talented Software Quality Assurance Analyst to design, develop, and execute tests for the software that controls our industry-leading ULS line of underwater laser scanners. Working with a small but growing software team, you will find creative ways to validate the full software stack, from the low-level embedded firmware on the laser scanner (working directly with robotic systems including single board computers, microcontrollers, cameras, and lasers) to the graphical interface used by our customers to monitor and manage the system. In this role, you will help define the framework that gets used for testing by driving the automation needed to propel 2G into our next phase of growth.

Required Credentials (Must Have):

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication of expected system functionality and test results
  • Knowledge of the tools, concepts, methodologies, and best practices of QA

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Python, bash, or other scripting languages
  • Experience with git, JIRA, and Linux
  • Experience with computer vision, image processing, and Point Cloud Processing
  • Knowledge in the fundamentals of electronics and hardware/software interfacing
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
