Developer/Administrator

TLC Pet Food is seeking a Developer/Administrator.

This position will be responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of new and existing programs and applications.

The Software Developer/Programmer position is a very hands-on role that requires an individual with a highly motivated and methodical approach.  You will work collaboratively with both the IT and Marketing Teams to design and develop applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain data-based applications as well as software applications/components.

• Manage enterprise systems, hardware and databases.

• Develop e-commerce applications.

• Work closely with all internal groups and advise on the best approach for application enhancements, upgrades, and integration.

• Assists in the setting of developments standards with respect to programming languages, application designs and programming procedures.

• Bring innovation and engagement to the customer online experience.

• Support the development of projects from inception through alpha/beta testing and final delivery.

• Develop and integrate reporting and business activity tracking tools.

• Effectively display good planning and organizational skills

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or in an equivalent subject.

• Minimum of 3 or more years’ experience in a Software Development role.

• Project Management Experience.

• Experienced with Service Oriented Architecture with a small team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Classic ASP, ASP.Net (VB.net and C#) and Net 2.0 & 4.6.

• Experience in PHP, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, javascript/query and AJAX

• Extensive DB Experience: MS SQL Server 2008 R@/2012/2016 and above.

• Experience with Version control.

• Content Management System Concepts and Frameworks.

• All OS (WIN, OSX, LINUX, IOS, ANDROID, CHROME OS)

• Ability to effectively prioritize and understand business needs.

• Work as part of a fast-paced, results oriented team and independently.

• Strong listening and interpretative skills, to facilitate solution design with internal    business operations.

• Working with the testing and implementations of new systems/projects.

• Superior analytical skills and customer service skills.

• Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot on their own.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
