Sr. Account Executive (Growth potential to VP Sales)

RouteThis is looking for an Senior Account Executive to be the driving force in an outbound sales effort for our growing team. This role has growth potential into either a Sales Manager or VP role as the RouteThis team continues to grow.

As an important member of the RouteThis family, you’ll be responsible for taking warm leads and driving deals through to close, meeting quarterly targets and being a positive point of interaction for potential RouteThis customers. If you’ve demonstrated mastery of your sales craft through continually exceeding sales targets and are looking to expedite your career growth, this role could be the one for you. You will also have the opportunity to influence and shape our sales process as we scale.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will:

  • Clearly articulate the RouteThis vision and value proposition to leads
  • Meet specified monthly/quarterly targets for deal progression through the pipeline
  • Own qualified deals from first interaction through to close.
  • Effectively navigate external organizations, getting key stake holders bought in at all levels (user through to executive)
  • Work with the marketing and product teams to help provide feedback based on customer interactions in emails and calls
  • Other duties as required


To be an effective team member, you will:

  • 5-7 years experience in a sales organizations selling SaaS
  • University or college degree with excellence in your field of study, ideally:  Sales, Marketing, Business or Communications
  • Mastery in all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation to through to close
  • Able to shape and iterate process but also not afraid to rollup your selves to get on the phone and close deals.
  • Detail Oriented and analytical
  • Thrives in a fast paced, self starting environment
  • Extensive experience selling via phone
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities or deadlines
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
