eConverse Media provides web design and community management services to the association industry. With clients all over the world, every day is a little different and very fast paced. Located in the heart of downtown Kitchener, eConverse is celebrating our 8th anniversary and is busier than ever. We have a casual work environment where everyone is encouraged to “brain jam” on projects, lots of coffee, an office dog and flexible work hours.

Tasks for this position would include: 

  • Work from site wireframes, and use UI best practices to build out structure/pages of client websites
  • Content migration
  • Auditing clients’ existing websites/content ; identifying content to be migrated, and specific additional functionality
  • Update existing client websites on an on-going basis (regular maintenance contracts)
  • Prepare monthly engagement reports for clients
  • Assist on website/mobile testing and QA
  • Communicate directly with clients and software partners, prepare training documentation, conduct training calls with clients
  • Participate in team meetings and project updates
  • Support the eConverse Director and VP of Design as needed

Job Requirements: 

  • Experience working with and managing websites
  • Experience using a content management system (Wordpress, Drupal, etc.)
  • Willingness to learn a new Content Management System
  • Web design/code (CSS/HTML/JS) experience is a bonus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to lead a small team
