Customer Service Representative

PCO America in Kitchener supports all of the business activity for North and South America and has an immediate position open for an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in supporting our customers and sales activities. The CSR is a critical role and carries important responsibilities that will contribute to the success of PCO. This supports activities in Administration, Marketing, Sales and Post Sales functions.
A very important responsibility is managing our CRM database utilizing ACT!. Accurate and timely information on customers, contacts and opportunities will be entered into the database. The CSR will be responsible for running reports and sending email marketing campaigns from the ACT! customer database.
Many of the responsibilities are working closely with our Sales team and is similar to a supportive inside sales position including: helping customers in North and South America who are inquiring about our products, services, quotations, new orders, existing orders or backlog, delivery times, pricing and repairs. Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) of programs is used extensively. Advanced Excel skills are needed for tracking sales and analyzing forecast information.
The CSR will build many relationships with a wide range of individuals including the PCO team in America and Germany, Channel Partners, Sales Channels, customers and suppliers. The interpersonal and communication skills are important because of the many contacts that the CSR will be interacting with.
- 5 years experience in imaging, optics or related technical market preferred.
- 5 years experience in Customer Service or Inside Sales role in a technology marketplace is preferred.
- 2 years or more in managing an ACT! (or similar) CRM database.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office Suite Products (Word, Power Point and Excel) including building pivot tables.
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
