What you’ll do as a QA Software Developer:

  • Champion the testability of all applications and services across the Bonfire platform ranging from refactoring legacy systems to reviewing product requirements for new services to ensure quality.

  • Prevent defects and champion quality by equipping Bonfire with infrastructure, process, and internal knowledge

  • Build out programs such that all staff at Bonfire participate in testing (defect reporting, manual testing, etc).

  • Design, implement, and maintain the automation test framework for regression, performance, load, and stress testing

  • Investigate, assess, and adopt emerging technologies to achieve and maintain system quality and integrity as we scale up the team.

  • Mentor developers on best practices design and architecture that is conducive to testing

  • Communicate status, findings, and progress on a regular basis

What you need:

  • Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering degree or equivalent.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • You shouldn’t have to be told what to do next, you just do it.

  • A comfort level with working on multiple projects at once

  • Experience with AWS

  • Knowledge of UI testing tools such as Selenium

  • Experience testing SaaS products or similar

  • Experience in most to all of our current stack (PHP, Python, MySQL, Vagrant, Ansible, AngularJS, NodeJS)
