Demand Account Manager

 As part of our Publisher Solutions Department, the Demand Account Manager will work closely and collaboratively with Sales, Engineering and Product to deliver the best in class service and support, campaign management, and strategic insights to our demand partners. As a Demand Account Manager you will play an integral role in the on boarding and continued management of strategic partners who are using Sortable’s solutions. The Demand Account Manager will also be responsible for continually educating our partners on our technology. They will provide internal feedback to our product team to ensure we are meeting the needs of our partners and demand market.

As a Demand Account Manager you will:


  • Be the business owner and main point of contact, both internal and external, responsible for any post-business development activities including leading partner kick-off meetings and campaign performance meetings, as well as escalating, tracking and solving issues

  • Work with partners to understand their business goals, marketing objectives, and competitive constraints

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the industry

  • Become a resident expert of all Sortable’s solutions and how to optimize demand partner campaigns within our technology

  • Lead onsite and remote partner strategy, training, and status meetings

  • Develop and maintain strong active relationships with key partner stakeholders

  • Document and report internally relevant marketplace learnings and partner requests to inform future product development

  • Responsible for compiling and presenting weekly, monthly, and annual reporting and business reviews

  • Responsible for successfully maintaining and growing demand partner relationships and opportunities

What it takes:


  • 1-3 years of experience in online advertising account management, marketing consulting and/or brand management

  • Experience managing and analyzing programmatic digital media campaigns preferred

  • Experience with optimization for programmatic exchanges preferred

  • Knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research

  • Strong analytical skills. Must be comfortable with MS Excel, data analysis, and internet technologies

  • Strong ability to create and build relationships. Demonstrated track record of success and established relationships

  • Ability to lead day-to-day client relations and to work with management and multifunctional teams to respond to partner needs

  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Strong work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong consultative sales skills, personable, charismatic

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment
