Part-time Faculty, SharePoint/Office 365

We are currently accepting applications to teach a course in SharePoint and Office 365 for the Enterprise Content Management program part-time in the fall semester. Applicants must have ability to teach evenings, twice per week from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and be available from October 10, 2019 to December 13, 2019. This opportunity is available at our Doon campus in Kitchener.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technologist in Information Technology Management or Business Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum five years of current, relevant industry experience required
    • Demonstrated, current experience with SharePoint farm and Office365 tenant administration
    • Experience in the design and implementation of SharePoint and Office 365 UX and UI
    • Demonstrated, current experience with cloud migration, SharePoint, Office 365, including in-depth knowledge of tools and applications to support enterprise workflows and business processes


  • Demonstrated current experience of business analysis functions to support successful collaborative enterprise system implementations
  • Previous post-secondary level teaching experience is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience of computer systems (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) and educational technologies (e.g. D2L) is preferred
  • Demonstrated exceptional presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an academic team
  • Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
