Responsible to the Data Centre Operations Manager for monitoring all systems and incidents within the Home Hardware Data Centers to minimize business risk.
Monitor and process batch jobs for all Dealer Support Centres.
Provide Level 1 support to address and resolve incidents and potential incidents.
Coordinate business critical incidents with appropriate escalation for next level support.
Maintain backup media and storage records.
Conduct testing and implement operation updates for new hardware, software and processes to ensure service levels are maintained.
Perform regular maintenance and provide troubleshooting for printers and peripheral equipment.
Other duties as assigned by the Data Centre Operations Manager.
College or University technical courses/training or equivalent experience working in IT operations in a data centre environment.
Experience in using incident and change management processes/systems an asset.
Excellent PC literacy including Windows OS experience and MS Office knowledge required.
Good communication skills and strong service orientation required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekdays and weekends, with availability to work various shift rotations as needed.
