We take a proactive approach to preparing for the future by creating agile and flexible programs to remain competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.&nbsp;As the Human Resources (HR) Technology Solution Designer you will provide technical leadership ensuring the strategy and design of technology solutions meet HR and organizational expectations and integrate with defined enterprise architectural standards and direction. You will oversee HR technology solutioning, partnering closely with HR, IT and other business leaders to align strategies, identify integrations, and promote strategic partnerships.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>What you&rsquo;re responsible for:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Identifying, proposing and implementing strategies that enable business capabilities, improve solutions and meet long-term organizational objectives by introducing innovation through software solutions, data models, artificial intelligence and robotics process automation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensuring solutions meet technical and business requirements, including serving as the primary conduit to IT, overseeing implementation and modification activities for applications/technical infrastructure, directing project teams in the use of newly introduced HR technologies and supporting system analysts with code or configuration reviews.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborating with business partners to understand existing business drivers and goals, leading and influencing discussions that impact HR technology solutions and defining the strategic technology planning process and timelines including business case development.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conducting market and competitive research, identifying emerging trends and new technologies to enhance HR capabilities and staying current on new vendor technology and products.</p> </li> <li> <p>Providing leadership, direction and education to the HR team on the importance of implementing effective strategic tools and technology, including defining business requirements, resolving technology issues, identifying opportunities for technology usage, and selecting, evaluating and/or designing technology solutions, as well as strong vendor management practices.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>What to expect:</p> <ul> <li> <p>You will travel occasionally.</p> </li> <li> <p>This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>To be successful:</p> <ul> <li> <p>You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.</p> </li> <li> <p>You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>To join our team:</p> <ul> <li> <p>You have seven years of experience in IT management, HRIS management and/or corporate technology strategy roles.</p> </li> <li> <p>You have a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information systems, or a related discipline; Master&rsquo;s is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> </li> <li> <p>Having a Project Management Professional (PMP), Service Management, or related certificate would be an asset.</p> </li> <li> <p>You have expert knowledge of business and IT strategy formulation, business scenario development and innovation.</p> </li> <li> <p>You have proven experience in successfully designing and implementing large, technically complex applications or application enhancements.</p> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>What we offer:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Training and development opportunities to grow your career with one of Canada&rsquo;s Best Employers.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Flexible work options and paid time off to support your personal and family needs.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>A holistic approach to your well-being, with physical and mental health programs and a supportive workplace culture.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Paid volunteer days to give back to your community.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>A comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive salary, bonus, pension and benefits.</p> </li> </ul>
