Technologies we currently use, and need supported include:

  • Microsoft: SQL Server, IIS, Git, Window Server (2012, 2016, +), Windows (8, 10 +), Office (2016+)
  • Linux: CentOS, Ubuntu, Apache, PHP-FPM, BIND, memceched, WordPress, lsyncd, etc.
  • Virtualization: VMWare vSphere (5+) {ESX and Server}, iSCSI, NFS
  • Hardware: Cisco UCS, Dell/HP/Lenovo Servers, EMC Isilon Storage, QNAP.
    • mix of blade servers, rack servers and desktop servers (Mac and PC)
    • various tablets
    • Microsoft surfaces
    • mobiles (Apple, Android-based, and BlackBerry)
  • Networking: Cisco (Nexus N7K/N5K {NXOS}, Catalyst 3500, 6500 {IOS}), Mikrotik (CCR, CRS, Router)
    • VPNs via SSTP/OVPN, L2TP and IPSEC
    • We have our own ASN, and run BGP and OSPF out of multiple locations
    • Wavelength services (relays from offices to Toronto datacenter and back)
  • Telecom: Polycom (via voip.ms and Fibernetics), Apple iPhones, BlackBerrys and Androids.

Monitoring and Access:

We monitor our clients 24x7 via different technologies (mainly PRTG)

  • Routers (core uptime, throughput oddities)
  • Servers (uptime, cpu, memory)
  • Services (email, websites, etc.)
  • Security (DDos, user/login, virus, etc.)

We currently use LogMeIn Central for remote access, client system monitoring, and patch management.

We respond as close to real time as possible between the hours of 9-5, and in reasonable time outside the hours of 9-5, 7-days a week. We require the individual to be located in the KW area as we have to respond directly to client emergencies on-premises 7-days a week.
