SusWork is a cleantech company focused on developing and commercializing in-house waste treatment technology with applications in fields such as Greenhouse Gas (GHG) conversion, municipal solid waste (MSW), industrial and agricultural waste treatment.

 

In this role you will be a managing the company’s sales and business development strategy and will be responsible for meeting company revenue objectives.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Create and manage the overall business development strategy
  • Develop and improve the Sales and Customer Experience Playbooks
  • Attend industry functions, including conferences and association events
  • Contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends
  • Research and develop business intelligence for new and existing accounts
  • Analyze prospects’ business and technical requirements to understand their needs
  • Manage prospecting efforts for potential clients
  • Arrange meetings with prospective clients
  • Make and Follow-up proposals
  • Negotiate and close deals with contracts
  • Help manage relations with investors
  • Research and develop possible channel relationships

 

Skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales management and/or international business development experience
  • Ability to assess sales representatives’ skills and identify areas for coaching and improvement
  • Desire to continuously improve processes and implement new ideas
  • Proven self-starter with a drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment
  • Strong communicator in person and on the telephone
  • Ability to work well independently but comfortable in a collaborative, environment
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge for different audiences
  • Technical background or experience in a sales environment is considered an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is considered an asset
  • Experience in the environment and/or energy sectors is considered an asset
