SAP Implementation Manager

Job Summary

As part of the Operations department, the SAP Implementation Manager will have a direct impact on delivering the next evolution of the FLIR Waterloo ERP. You will use your project management, organizational, and communication skills to ensure the SAP implementation remains on schedule and budget.  You will report to the Director – Strategic Sourcing, and work cross functionally to ensure a seamless SAP implementation, meeting all internal customer goals and objectives.

** Please note this is a contract position for a duration of 12 months **

As an SAP Implementation Manager, you will:

  • Drive SAP implementation for the FLIR Waterloo facility
  • Lead cross functional meetings to define actions, establish timelines/milestones and ensure clear communication
  • Drive all activities to ensure key deliverables are completed on time
  • Report on implementation status and define solutions/recommendations to any defined obstacles
  • Support post SAP implementation including maintenance projects

Required Skills

  • Expert/Advanced user of SAP (the entire platform)
  • Proven ERP implementation experience (cradle to grave)
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem resolution capability
  • Experience working with cross functional teams (operations, finance, supply chain, sales)
  • Proven track record in driving defined timelines
  • Clear communicator across multiple stakeholders in the project implementation group
