Reporting to the Director, UAS Product Management, the Product Director will own the complete product management lifecycle for the R70 product lines.  He/she will have a direct impact on delivering the next evolution of the FLIR brand.

As a Product Director you will:

  • Define and deliver the roadmap and technology/vision strategy across the R70 product lines, including extensions to the line (i.e. tethering, comms modules, endurance kits, launch platforms)
  • Act as the point of contact for Sales/BD/Programs to understand and execute customer requirements, market trends, value proposition, competitive positioning and partnership opportunities
  • Work closely with Engineering to provide market-centric view of customer requirements and ensure on-time/on-spec/on-budget delivery of products and projects
  • Adherence to corporate reporting cadence and other business processes for UAS product lines

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline
  • Product management experience with complex, multi-disciplinary products
  • Experience from UAS and G&D market
  • Must possess or be able to obtain NATO or Canadian security clearance
  • Ability to influence people and outcomes outside of a direct chain of command
  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills; able to summarize complex technical and commercial matters for audiences of varying degrees of sophistication
