Medella Health is on a mission to solve the problem of health data collection. We do this by building sensors to monitor drugs and health biomarkers in a cheap and accessible manner. Our current focus is the commercialization of saliva-based drug screener, for customers in the fields of law enforcement and workplace management.

You will be responsible in the design and development of laboratory automation hardware components, such as multiplexer circuits, fluid pneumatic circuits, instrument drivers and scripts, wafer interfaces, assembly/testing jigs, and robotic systems.
To tackle key issues on the hardware development side, you’ll need expertise in circuit design, embedded programming, driver programming, mechanical design, rapid prototyping, and algorithm development, to name a few. Since you’ll be dealing with macro and microfluidic systems on a daily basis, familiarity with soft lithography, polymer chemistry, fluidic system architecture design would be a huge plus! In addition, knowledge and experience with data science toolkits and Agile development processes would be preferred.
We are looking for intermediate to senior level developers with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in hardware engineering. You will be compensated with a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 for this position. If you are interested, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
