About the Job
This role is an on-ramp to becoming an independent Sales Executive at Athena Software. The role is ideal if you’re looking to get started in sales or have minimal experience but an insatiable appetite to learn more about sales and the social services industry. Within this role you will start by helping to prospect leads being sourced by the marketing team and your own independent efforts. You will provide support with cold calling and e-mailing for conferences and sales trips with a target of setting up in-person or virtual meetings. How fast you grow and flourish in this role will be directly dependant on your ability to learn and adapt in the role. As a result, a strong work ethic and enthusiasm towards contribution on a team would be major assets.
Who You Are
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a customer/client facing role
- Degree or Diploma in Business with a specialization in Marketing, Communications or related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt
- Experience with CRM’s such as Salesforce and Hubspot would an asset, but not a requirement
- Superior communication skills
- Great self-awareness
