Product Marketing Manager - eDiscovery

The opportunity:

The Product Marketing Manager (PMK) will support the OpenText Discovery portfolio of products, including EnCase eDiscovery (formerly Guidance), Axcelerate (formerly Recommind), Insight and Legal Hold (formerly Catalyst). The PMK will be responsible for overall product and solution messaging and its implementation through all internal and external channels of communication. The PMK will be interacting with his/her counterparts in the product marketing, program management, product management, industry marketing, and other teams as well as with the sales force. This is a global role with responsibility to recognize and adapt strategies and messages for different audiences, including corporate legal, law firm, government and partners, and regions.

You are great at:

• Drive and coordinate development of messaging and customer-consumable content
• Plan the launch of new products and releases; manage cross-functional implementation of the plan
• Develop effective sales enablement tools, programs and deliver training
• Drive strategies for increasing revenue in current and new areas and provide sales/deal support
• Interface with product management, providing market/field input to drive product direction, define business models and develop pricing strategies
• Partner communication/development
• Event management, support and attendance/presentations
• Campaign and lead generation support to drive awareness and demand
• Social media and PR participation
• Analyst coverage, analyst survey responses

What it takes:

• Experience in enterprise software, preferably in the eDiscovery or legal services market
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing or similar field
• Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value
• Conversant in go-to-market methodologies
• Great interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to forge trusting relationships across a diverse team
• Skilled in leading presentations and discussions with business, technical, and sales stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong content marketer
• Proven ability to prioritize and differentiate what matters from the noise, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality
